The Matatu Owners Association (MOA) has represented matatu owners in Kenya for the past 20 years. Since 2003, the organization has worked to solve the unfavorable business environment that investors in the sector encounter. We advocate for a corporate environment that encourages investors in road public transport. The company’s governance arm is comprised of a group of matatu investors who founded the association to lobby for a more supportive climate in public transport. The Secretariat is in charge of managing the day-to-day operations of engaging its members. Our clients include industry investors and public transport commuters.
